The Battle Lost: Ryder's Birth Live Poetry Reading

Worth reading more than once

This is a very touching account of more than a man in search of his son. The fight with addiction is expressed in heart rending terms that bring home the pain and desperation this man experienced. I have been fortunate in my own life to have been untouched by drugs but the writing of Mr. Knittle Jr is so expressive that I was able to see things through his eyes. I have experienced the loss of a child through divorce and separation so this part of the book was something I identified with easily.

Lies and betrayal in some form or another are strangers to no man or woman so there is much in this book to touch the heart. Worth reading more than once. Good luck to you Mr. Knittle Jr.
