I enjoyed this book which delves into the battle of addiction in a different type of way. The poetry is beautiful and the sentiment is honest and brutal at times as the reader is taken on this epic journey. I think the author must be an amazing person to write about a hard subject that so many suffer with firsthand. well done!

Although written in separate poems, this piece of work shares a cohesive story. It faces the dark reality in our present-day society that often overlooks the emotional turmoil a man faces with the separation of a child he loves. It is a sincere look into a tormented man as he faces his addictions and those of the ones he loves and his ultimate goal to fight for and claim the child he calls his son. Mr. Knittle writes with sincerity from the depths of his soul. It is a talent that I find refreshing and much-needed today. I found this to be an Awesome read.
