Live Poetry

My dear Richard, I am so blessed to have such a kind and big hearted Poet friend such as yourself. I can feel your heartbeat and it's coming from the depths of Heaven's gates.. spilling out over the land, and all over me.. it's pure love.. and I accept it as a Gift from our God I only hope that one day I will myself own such a beautiful as yours.. Thank you! Hi Richard. I just wanted to let you know that I could really relate to your poem about Love tonight. I too often wonder Where did Love go? But like you said we stop and think of our children and grandchildren.. then we remember that love will always be alive. Your gifted words really touched my heart tonight and for that reassurance, I thank you! Live Poetry tonight soon by Poet Richard M Knittle Jr. A Texas Poet Laureate in sunny Southern California.

We were all born

We were all born We were all born down here on this planet together but nobody really even cares from all of the garbage that we create and then just throw on the ground to all the pollution that we pump up into the air. we are all divided by race, wealth, gender, religion and the color of our skins and for what? We all bleed the same color and shed the same tears for family, pain, feelings and fears, when you look at a man you need to see what is on the inside before you make up your mind stop labeling us with colors since we are all the same in Gods eyes who started it does anybody really know or even how long it is been? let's get educated look forward not back where we have been because there is no fault I mean all sides are wrong we share equally in that sin. Think about it for just a minute and see the light start to shine, governments all of them, need us to fight among each other, it is called divide and conquer they use it in war all the time, for if we did finally

It kind of feels like you are sitting all alone in the classroom all by yourself  taking your exams while failing all  of the lessons that you have learned  in life or maybe like you are trapped like a drowning rat on sinking ship somewhere in the middle of the night lost on a foreign ocean that is going down? Maybe even feel like you are only just a hamster who is caught in a tiny cage on a spinning wheel while you are always running around and round getting nowhere? Even waking up in the very early morning in an unfamiliar place looking all around you and have no clue while you try remembering how you got there  wondering where you really are then screaming out in  a lonely desperation yet making not a sound?
