Intoxicating

Intoxicating Your very essence is so very intoxicating to me that it causes me to become drunk by  your beauty as it is  pumped from a pounding heart causing my  pen to embark on a whole new verse that  reads making love to you is all I want to do  from when the sun goes down until it rises up again then the night falls and dark  is all around the stars light our path like  fireflies by the sand and the moon begins  the glow showing us where we need to go  as tears and sweat fall from our bodies  become one lost in time our hearts pounding hard beating out the melody of who and  what we are while our souls are  holding on  to the others hand in hand dancing through  the skies where no one has ever been searching  for eternity through the ocean of forever while we are here and now together until the ink runs dry just as you and I become lost in one another’s eyes...

From cigarette lit yet never burned

From cigarette lit yet never burned Like the last of the warmth from burning ash from cigarette lit yet never burned sometime after midnight as the clock strike one, she lay there looking lifeless in a dirty bed not her own passed out with some stranger laying on top of her slobbering trying so hard to get it up but way to high he will soon learn. She had met him just a few hours ago at the bar down the street where she now calls her home most of the time, drinking all her love away while using drugs so she would never feel the hurt again and when the alcohol could no longer hide the pain she feels deep In her heart, she turns to a needle filled with all the lies that fill her mind with all of the thoughts that are all blurred along the lines of sin, she is just trying hard to forget, her beauty you can still see, that is if you look real hard, covered now by a plain black mask that was given to her personally as tokens of his gratitude by the devil himself as he danced with her a...

Thank you for being my friend

Thank you for being my friend Your beauty is without a doubt a treasure one that shall last past forever until the ends of time has passed us by, for you have captured my heart causing it to start to pound harder than it ever has before with a beat a lot like rhythmic sounds of love ever since that night you and I kissed spinning around holding on to each other both desperately needing the touch and warmth of one another just two damaged people giving all that they had left to give on the hardwood floor while we danced together with our souls, from that first kiss to the present who knows what our futures may bring, I fell in love with you and still do as the very sight of you turns me on, two almost strangers at one time before but instant best friends the first time you walked through my door, I am a part of you as you are a part of me too that will never change and that is truth no matter where in life our paths may go I will always ...

At the end of a Poets goodbye.

As I just stood there feeling very sad and helpless watching as he wandered aimlessly through what was left over from the last of the remains of a lost and broken world, a place where he once knew back in another moment of time when he lived happily with his wife and four boys and loved every single one of them with his whole heart and soul but now long ago abandoned by all four for reason unknown to him lost in a place that time itself seemed to have forgotten through the tiny refractions caused by the cracks along with the dust in his dirty reflection that was coming from what was left of broken mirror he used every morning when the sun rose, as he quietly keeps on searching in the area he believes used to be his home for something or maybe it was someone giving off a sorrowful yet pitiful sound of an eerie deafening silence as he meticulously looked what literally was like only a few inches at a time, I mean after all, it was his own soul he was looking for, so ti...

Free

Free. Free from the tyranny that chained my heart free from the hate that had left its mark free from the wars that were fought for my soul  free from the conflicts in my mind not letting me go free from the colors that is my skin free from the violence that I was in free from the hunger that I felt free from the life that I was dealt free from the addiction in my veins free from the ashes in the flames free from the ghost in my past free from the love that did not last free from the greed from which we breed free from the power we did not need free from the boundaries that cage us in free from the races that should have never began free from the cross from which we hang  free from the ancestors in where came free from the world that divides us all free from the blindness that we saw free from the bloodshed that we bleed free from the people that think we need free from the ones that create despair free from the smoke that fills our air  free fro...
