A bar they call forever
My first album named Spilled Ink is finished so to celebrate all 12 songs will have new videos and lyrics.
A bar they call forever has a brand new video with lyrics and is a song that came from the poem I wrote called
"I'm in love with a fallen angel" which actually spawned several songs that are on this album.
From the upcoming album called Spilled Ink
filled with mostly poetry
a little bit of music
some vocals too
and a lot of heart and soul.
A bar they call forever
Written by Richard M Knittle Jr.
Performed by Douglas Haines
Memories and alcohol don't make
good partners especially when your
trying to let go as every woman who
walks through the door reminds me
of how it was before dancing slow
on that hardwood floor.
Chorus
Sitting here getting drunk at some
bar they call forever drinking away
the color of your beautiful eyes finding
nothing I was looking for at the
bottom of shot number nine.
Just another night under the neon lights
here in a bar, they call forever where we
dreamed of sharing our lives together
but those dreams died away and forever
became a lie.
Chorus
Sitting here getting drunk at some
bar they call forever drinking away
the color of your beautiful eyes finding
nothing I was looking for at the
bottom of shot number nine.
Forever holds a special part of me
just a little piece of my heart as we
danced so many nights through all
the good times and bad until you
said our love was over I had to let
go of what we had.
Chorus
Sitting here getting drunk at some
bar they call forever drinking away
the color of your beautiful eyes finding
nothing I was looking for at the
bottom of shot number nine.
I still love you
I still remember
dancing slow on that hardwood floor
Chorus
Sitting here getting drunk at some
bar they call forever drinking away
the color of your beautiful eyes finding
nothing I was looking for at the
bottom of shot number nine.
finding
nothing I was looking for at the
bottom of shot number nine.
